Replacing Outdated Lighting

With a new Sephora store opening and high visitor numbers expected, the shopping centre needed reliable lighting that presented the space at its best.

The existing fittings were dated, delivered poor light levels and no longer met the standard expected across a busy modern retail environment.

The programme required a full lighting upgrade while protecting normal trading hours and keeping disruption to retailers and visitors to a minimum.

The 3 AM Night Shift

To avoid interfering with daytime trading, the work was completed outside normal opening hours.

Engineers started at 3 am to isolate and remove the old fittings before the centre opened to the public. New energy efficient LED fixtures were then installed in a controlled sequence throughout the project area.

The Final Result

The completed installation delivered brighter, more consistent lighting and gave Victoria Square a clean modern finish ahead of the store launch.
