Fire Alarm Engineer
Role Overview
CTS Electrical Services is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join its expanding specialist team, working throughout Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an established Electrical / Fire & Safety company that prides itself on delivering sector-leading, high-quality services to its growing client base.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Optional overtime is available for those who wish to earn more.
Key Responsibilities
- Install fire detection and aspirating systems, emergency lighting, remote monitoring, disabled refuge, toilet alarm and nurse call systems.
- Carry out ongoing planned and reactive maintenance, mainly in office buildings and schools.
- Support customers and collaborate with operations, sales and administration departments as needed.
- Follow company Health & Safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment.

Requirements
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and recommend appropriate actions for fire detection and alarm system faults.
- Experience working in commercial or construction environments.
- City & Guilds 236 (parts 1 & 2) or time-served equivalent preferred.
- 17th/18th Edition Electrical qualification desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and strong commitment to health and safety.
Note: FIA qualification is not essential. Knowledge of manufacturers such as Ampac, Kentec, Advanced Electronics, HAES, Gent, Hochiki, Apollo, Vesda, Airsense, Honeywell, Wagner, Quantec, C-TEC, or Baldwin & Boxall is highly advantageous.
PAT Testing Technician
We are seeking a reliable technician to carry out high-volume Portable Appliance Testing at prominent client sites. Access NI clearance is required. Experience is preferred but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Approved Electrician
Experienced electrician required for Fixed Wire Testing (EICR) and associated remedial works across large commercial portfolios. Candidates must hold their 18th Edition and Inspection & Testing qualifications.
